About Habitat for Humanity Okaloosa County
ReStore shops are discount home improvement centers operated by Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity Okaloosa ReStores offer people places to purchase gently used and new household items at a fraction of the cost of a big box store. Shoppers save as much as 50-75 percent, but they get the same high quality items.
All the items found in a ReStore are donated. Without donations, ReStore shops wouldn’t exist for your shopping pleasure. Individuals and builders donate their used or new items to ReStore, and those donations may be tax deductible.
You’ll find brand new cabinets, vanities, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, floor tile and more in the well-stocked stores. You’ll also find plenty of chairs, sofas, end tables, dining tables, wardrobes, television armoires, beds and much, much more.
Your donations and your purchases are not little things. Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and helping families raise their standard of living. Your donations and purchases help raise the funds to make all this possible.
Donations from individuals and from builders keep big, bulky items out of the landfill and give others an alternative to shopping in an expensive home improvement or furniture store.
Everyone wins with the Habitat ReStores in Okaloosa County – donors, shoppers and new home owners.
